Company History

Founded in 2016, Hamilton Fox Insurance is an independent property and casualty insurance agency serving Florida residents and businesses. Our roots run deep and can be traced back to 1947 when the Jones family first offered insurance solutions in South Dade County. For 70 years we have been “exceeding clients’ expectations” and that motto will continue on through Hamilton Fox Insurance.

As an independent agent, we partner with high quality insurance carriers that are dedicated to serving the needs of our clients. We are committed to forging long lasting relationships with our clients and the insurance carriers that we represent. This commitment is achieved by providing excellent customer service, a continued investment in technology and through the strength of our agency carrier partnerships.

About T. Hamilton Jones

T. Hamilton Jones, President, is responsible for production and oversees the operations of the company. Hamilton graduated from Florida State University majoring in Insurance and Risk Management. He officially joined his family’s agency, T.R. Jones & Company, in 2006 where he spent his time learning the various departments of a full-service agency. Hamilton spent 3 years at Beecher Carlson, a highly specialized boutique national brokerage where he targeted complex commercial property risks. Later Hamilton joined publicly traded national insurance brokerage Brown & Brown as a middle market commercial producer. In 2015, Hamilton joined Florida Insurance Specialists, a large Personal Lines Agency, as Regional VP where he launched the Commercial Division.
